The ford tractor has a om606 with 7mm m pump, manifold made by me and a holset he451v as airpump..
It seems to burn the fuel cleanly. To bad the waterhose popt off, now the cooland comes out via a exhaust runner. Hopefully only a gasget....

What is the sharp noise running idle btw?...

I assume that yours is in cloud of steam at the end of the ran. The noise when you release gas pedal is turbo surge. Basically engines rpm drops faster than boost and compressed air instead being inhaled by engine is escaping throw turbos compressor. Not really desireable but hard to overcome when you go from flat out fully loaded to idle.

1977 300D for parts? Just a pile of rust but still runs!
1984 190D 2.2 - gone to better home
1987 Dodge Maxivan with OM603 and Goran’s 7.5 backroads terror
1987 300TD - tinker toy
1989 300TE - parts
1991 300TE - backyards decor
1991 300TD - Barrote’s 7.5
1992 300TD - semi-STD(Goran modified 7.5 ip but still with factory turbo+at)
1998 E300TD - dd with DSL1 now
1998 ML320 - snow ride
2014 Sprinter 2500 - Malone’s tune + pedal box

Very cool. I pull tractors as well here in the States.
Sounds like it is running 6-7000rpm?

Is the class pretty much a "run whatever you brought" style of class?
It had everything from turbodiesels to V8's Tongue

'82 300D -3" straight pipe, ALDA deleted, 3in1 glowshift gauge, HX30, egr-less manifold, A/W intercooler Big Grin
'14 Ram 6.7l cummins -G56 handshaker, wishing it was deleted

hey.
The surge in am aware off, no big problem. I mean the short snappy high pitch sound when idlling...
As for the rules: 1400 kg max, 3.6 liter max. idd diesel intercooler and turbo, gasoline NA. the body has to be 25 years or older.
It's on youtube under deoldstock...
This tractor used to run a 3.6 audi v8, but i talked the owner un using diesel again Big Grin
There is also a 1800 class, running duramax.......Angel

I'm sorry guys, it's more easy to do technical talk in our language....

Bedoel je een nagelend geluid zoals in dit filmpje?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bebYhuqfevE

Dat is redelijk normaal. Komt door je grotere brandstofpomp. Waar heb je de pomp laten bouwen? Of zelf gedaan?

I'll try to translate...

You mean a nailing/knocking sound like in this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bebYhuqfevE

That's fairly normal. It's because more fuel is injected. Where did you get your pump build? Or did you do it yourself? The problem is faster injection timing, causing the piston to hit the other side of the cilinder wall too early. The noise caused bij the slapping is referred as "diesel knock" (I don't know if it translates like that). Normally there's a little trick (desaxatie, don't know the translation) that makes the piston sit on the right side of the cilinder, before combustion begins. I've got the same thing with mij DIY pump. Knocking like crazy. I can't really hear it in the video you posted...

Hey Tito.
The element are via van der kolk dpp, and build by a lokal..quistion is because cil5 is getting hotter than the olders... injectors a changed, pump check and ever iddle cc set back and still getting hotter than the older.
When the engine is up and running i'll try to check timing via a timinglight with diesel pickup..

The pump now gives 150cc... next winter we'll need more..
For the themps i'm sorry, the dataloger did not record, and i was personel ad vasteras Big Grin
But boost is 2.7..
