02-01-2015, 09:25 PM #1I have an 82 240d long story short its a toy basically I plan to go to 617 motor if this one dies but for now I have a mw pumped 616 that loves to run I have fabbed up a Turbo kit it is an hx35w (I know its to large to be efficent) I need more fuel that's where I'm at now I have read alot of what not to do things but its tempting to try I have read of people machining the collars off of the dvs and tightning the dv holders down and all sorts of things this is just a car I take out to get crazy looks it is slammed on bbs reos and the paint is all striped and rusted its a one off car I have a hood stack on it and I love it I want more fuek and I don't really care how I get it as long as the car stays drive able anyone have any suggestions and I'd like the side effects listed with it lol thanks for your time and input
I've also heard of people mounting VE pumps onto 616s.
'82 300D -3" straight pipe, ALDA deleted, 3in1 glowshift gauge, HX30, egr-less manifold, A/W intercooler
'14 Ram 6.7l cummins -G56 handshaker, wishing it was deleted
Not sure where terra haute is, but slap a om606 in it if they are available in your area!

02-02-2015, 12:23 PM #3I buy and sell a lot of these cars I just have 2 of them that I beat on I'd like to 606 swap one but I hate to take apart something that still works
