Yes lots of people would, Not sure which ls engines are sensible prices in the usa....

I gave up because to get 10 om60x engines and gearbox's at a sensible price would have meant id have to part out 10 cars. even over here they are pricy when not in the car, but complete e300s etc are still around for £400

scrap and tires etc your only into it for £100....

If anyone is seriously interested I will get back involved.

I'm still here if anyone wants a 605 or a 606 Smile

I think I've got the process nailed now. A complete engine can be had for £1500. This includes delivery in a crate to your nearest airport. Transit time is 2 days.

I can obtain a 6 speed gearbox but I cant give a price as it varies from £200-£500 depending on what you want and what's available.

Hey I'm having a real issue finding om648 sumps and oil pumps here! A few people have requested them but people are quite reluctant to split them from an engine. They prefer to sell complete engines as once you start splitting them it's not as easy to sell the rest.

The only other option I can think of ATM is buying brand new items. It won't be cheap, but if you want me to look into this then I'm happy to do so.

Do you have any way of documenting the mileage of the Om 606 engines. When buying these for a customers project they want to know this.

Yes I can provide pictures from the cars dash cluster as proof. MOT certificates are also available as futher evidence of mileage.
As I stated previously, I strip complete working cars to ensure that you receive a fully functional engine with everything you need for your swap.

What is the average mileage?  Can you arrange shipping from the entre port in the USA to the nearest shipping terminal, if not near a shipping port. I am near Spokane Washington.

Average mileage is ~150k. Lower mileage engines are available but the cost increases significantly.
I prefer air freight as it's overall cheaper and easier. I can arrange for it to be dropped off at your nearest airport.

If there are any other bits you require then it's wise to send it all at once. There is a weight limit of 600kg for a standard pallet so it makes sense to ship as much as possible. Even if it's not car related I don't mind helping out Smile

Yes they should have a forklift truck to offload goods from the plane and move them in and around their warehouse. They should help you load it onto your vehicle as well.
