I have 2 projects, an 82 300sd om617 that needs a 5 speed, I have an om617 flywheel and pressure plate, busted late 80s 5 speed, plan to get parts from pick n pull, 4 speed for bellhousing and some parts from a 5 speed. Looking for an om606 turbo to fit into an sec coupe, already have a 5 speed and flywheel.

I could build a mess of a clutch pedal but the factory clutch pedal is nice and tidy and easy to ship from europe.

Rare but don't take my word for it. I've been on here a couple years and this is the second time I've heard 126 and clutch in the same sentence.

Only the second...

I had mine shipped from a salvage yard in Germany. Then some one found me a second one at a pick n pull yard here in the states. They only came as a rare euro option in the w126 280s or 280se mostly for hotels and limo company's

Im pretty sure the 123 chasis pedal assembly can be easily adapted. I think you just have to cut off the upper hook. To be sure, check out sirnik's 126 thread over on peach parts. I think he used a 123 pedal cluster in his 300SD 4 speed project

You also have to lengthen the w123 pedals about 4"

Thanks, if I ever get my coupe I'd probably look for euro, I might grab a cluster when I find a 4 speed donor 240, I have a couple spare w126 auto assembelies I can use for parts.
