What is the wheel width and offset? I think that's what you need to be concerned about

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

Not sure. I don't think the guy would know either haha
Looks to be 6 or 8" wide, offset appears to be the same as the 16" monoblocks

Looked up 18" rims on a w123, and they look totally hideous.
So scratch that idea, but thanks anyhow

Yeah I think 17" is about the biggest that would be decent looking. Mine are 16 and they look pretty dope. I do say that a wider wheel on a w123 is way more bitchin' looking than the stock wheel

Mine are 16x7

17" rims looks good i think Smile

In some applications and different rim styles it doesn't look bad, like your swampmonkey, that's a pretty good look.
I am just not a fan of the "baloney skin" tire (as I call them) that you have to run with big rims like that.
