So have an 84 190d and an 87 300d. Id like to put the 6cyl into my 201. Lots of fabricating? Its a 5 speed manual

The 190 was available with a six cylinder gas engine. Those models have a removable radiator support though, so you'd have to fabricate that.

How many HP are you hoping to get? if it is 350 or less, I would go for a 4 or 5 cyl engine. A OM604 or 605 would be the first choice but I don't know how easy they are to find over there.

Yea the 4 valve engines aren't over here except 606. Hoping around 350
