So on a whim last night I decided to look up valve sizes for potential upgrades. I found this catalog:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/163362286/cata...-e-comando
which states that the OM601/602/603 valves have the following dimensions:

Intake: 38mm head, 8mm shank, 106.4mm overall length
Exhaust: 35mm head, 9mm shank, 106.4mm overall length

Can anyone confirm this?

Mercedes Benz Diesel starts on page 77

Also, for 606, it only states 93- and gives one value for exhaust and one for intake. Can anyone confirm valve sizes for all 606 variants are the same?

OM606 non-turbo have intake valves with smaller stems (7mm?)

OM606 turbo have intake valves with larger stems (8mm?)

I believe the exhaust valves are all the same. Nothing prevents you from installing the larger intake valves in the non-turbo head. I'll warn you though that the valves are all hard to find and expensive.

In a catalog I read I see that correct dimension valves

IN: 38mm head, 8mm stem, 106,4mm lenght
EX 35mm head, 9mm stem, 106,4mm lenght.

For the 605 engine IN: 29mm head, 6mm stem, 105,4mm lenght
EX: 26mm head, 6mm stem , 105,7mm lenght
EX: 26mm head, 7mm stem, 105,7mm lenght

This last 7mm stem exhaust valve it is more expensive than the 6mm ex. valve, can be for Turbo models? can be best alloy used or sodium filled?

For the OM606 IN: 29 6 105,4
EX: 26 6 105,7

The OM 606 valves part number of the manufacturer (Freccia) it is different to OM605 valves, I don´t understand it, are the same valves.
