I Have acquired an HX-35 and I am wanting to know if it will work. I have read that an HX-30 is good as well as the HY-35. I do not know how to read the flow maps although I do have them. I thought I heard somewhere that the HX-35 will work but I cannot find where I read that. I know about the plumbing issues and this is not a problem. I just cant read a compressor map and I know that some of you can. THANKS in advance!!

It will work but it will be laggy not not very good for a daily driver.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, NOT GOOD FOR A DAILY DRIVER? JUST BECAUSE OF THE LAG?

Yes. It will hurt economy by making the engine work harder and hotter for longer and it will be much slower accelerating from a stop.

More fuel should help though. It looks like this next year is going to be good for the 617 with the breakthroughs I am seeing. I think I am going to try it. Maybe the 10mm elements would help? Anyone try them yet?

Yes, 2009 is looking to be a VERY exciting year. Big Grin

Too much fuel means hot exhaust temperatures and you'll end up backing off the throttle sooner to keep it within the thermal limits. If you keep the RPM's up it will help spool time.

Yes too much fuel means higher egt's but if I go with this HX-35 I will have the air to move it!!!
