The 2.5 turbo's had transmissions with an extra plate in each clutch pack, I presume to handle the extra torque. I don't know if you can simply add a plate to a normal 722.4. The part numbers that I know are:
722.413 (190DT)
722.418 (300D 2.5)
You're also going to need a bowden cable link.
You can but will need to shim the packs afterwards. You would need one extra disc and friction disc then the snap ring acts as the shim.
