Hi guys,

Quick question - but when you start to fiddle with a diesel, what things do you need to look out for?

Obviousely regarding gauges boost and EGT

Maybe things like water temp, oil pressure etc?

Some people are doing a pressure sensor in the exhaust too. I would say water temp and oil pressure sound good too.

Rusted out beat down 300d turbo 82' -- RIP
Nice body, tons of ridiculous mechanical issues - 300d turbo 82' /motor 85'

depending on what you drive, shouldn't it have a water and oil pressure in the dash?
EGT, boost, and some people are doing drive pressure.
Fuel pressure is also an important factor

The car is a volvo 940 diesel. It has the Vw 2.4 straight six D24tic engine
No oil pressure as standard. Has a temp for water but intermittent.
