Hello I'm new here, I'd like to ask I would like to mount the turbo on OM617 non turbo. Turbo pressure would be 0.6 bar so low pressure engine should handle it. I know that assembled STT turbo kits that ran on this principle. Motor would handle such loads?

It should be fine at that pressure. But don't expect much power improvement with out tuning the injection pump

If you swap on a turbo pump yes you can make more power easily. The MW pump has an external oil line, don't forget to connect it.

An EGT gauge can help you get more power safely without melting the engine. I don't know what the limit for a naturally aspirated 617 is, but the turbo version's limit is 1250°F

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?

The MW pump was the stock turbo pump in the USA. Bolt on for turbo application.

The M pump was the stock naturally aspirated pump in the rest of the world. Can be tweaked to put out more power, may need to be tweaked by a shop-I don't know how much you can improve it without sending to a shop. Dieselmenken is the expert with M pumps
