First post to this list, but I've been wrenching on Diesel Benz's since I had hair. Hopefully I can contribute a tidbit here and there.

At the moment, I have a problem. I have an '87 190DT, with a bad turbo. The wastgate is frozen in place, can't budge it. Fortunately, the headgasket blew out, or I'd have a real problem! My question is whether there's any way to adapt a Sprinter T25 (triangular flange) to the 190 (rectangular flange)? With these Sprinter turbos available from Asian sources for no money, I hate to spend twice as much on a rebuild.

An adapter plate is easy to make. Some people have even welded plates to their old exhaust manifolds
