The speedometer in the w201 is mechanical, & there is no mechanical speedo drive in a 722.6 so which electronic speedos fit into a w201 instrument cluster? Or which complete electronic instrument clusters fit in a w201 & have similar appearance?

There was no electronic speedo for the w201 as far as I remember.

As far as a solution, I would personally probably just go aftermarket and fab up something like this..

Ok, it appears that some later, larger engined w124s had an electronic speedo, & I know these speedos are the same size & shape as a w201 speedo so I think I might be able to put one of these into my cluster.
