I've read a bit about plans and attempts, has anyone come up with a completed project? I've read factory was 5mm or 5.5mm and later this year I'd like to get a touch more power from my 82 300sd but nothing crazy.

It does have a lot of good info in it and has some practical advice for those looking for larger elements in the MW.

Have you tried adjusting your pump's settings? That's really all you need to get a touch more power.

Thanks, I like the idea of shorter duration injection to keep it earlier in the combustion cycle, and by a touch more power I mean slightly less than the rated capacity of my 82 300sd transmission Wink not trying to set a land speed record.

One thing I don't see stated anywhere, it appears the size refers to the cross section, thus a 6mm is 19% bigger, 8mm is just over twice the size, and 10mm is 3.3 times the size (230% larger) as compared to the 5.5, 6.5mm - 7mm turned down would make a strong DD
