Check out these cheap unimogs, lol. Who has a big arse trailer??

http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/se...rds=unimog

I guess the auctions aren't open yet, I wonder how much they're gonna go for?

-1982 300D Turbo, 280k miles, ALDA apparently maxxed, fram 8038, 12 lbs boost, non-egr manifolds, W/M injection, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 front rotors/calipers, 4-speed swap
In the works: A/W IC, adjust pump, turbo rebuild (w/60 trim comp wheel)
-1980 300SD, 110k, project car. Goal is to get it lookin' like it did on the showroom floor (body and interior wise, not necessarily under the hood )
-1974 240D, FRESH PAINT!!!!!!

I had worked for a guy here in Indiana that would buy loads of stuff from them auctions. Get like 10 or 20 things in 1 shot. Like mogs, deuce +1/4, and trailers.
some of them were ok and most were pretty rough. Dented all up, bullet holes, paint a foot thick laid on with gi socks.
But the motors were often certified rebuilt by merc/benz in like the 90s
And they got those nice loader and backhoes on them.
Not sure what they sell for but I would guess like 5-8k maybe more

Here's the ole boy that builds up and refinishes them trucks

Rusted out beat down 300d turbo 82' -- RIP
Nice body, tons of ridiculous mechanical issues - 300d turbo 82' /motor 85'

FYI: Those are "SEE's" and are specific road-tractors for the US military (NATO complient). GREAT "around the property" tractor, other than repair parts are CRAZY expensive!

These are vertually useless for "expedition" vehicles!

Check out steelsoldiers.com for the full lowdown.

"Unimog exchange" is a classified for them, and there's lots of'em in the north east. Been tempted many times to get a fixer-upper( when I make room!)
