it would require some seriously creative fitment, but has anyone tried hooking up two 617 injection pumps in parallel?

Its not all about the size,5,5+5,5=11 vs 7,5 Its much moore, duration on element etc etc.
However, i did see a clip on youtube 6,2L Chevy V8 diesel with 2 Stanadyne DB2 pumps side by side.

LOL...There are 12mm elements that can be had, but they require heavy mods to the pump housing. I mean if the goal is to go crazy.....
