Improvment goes on, this is my version of outside ALDA with possibility to adjust fuel before turbo starts to charge & max fuel delivery. Not my idea, but my performance.
3mm steel, watercut high quality
This one can handle fuel between 55cc-180cc.
Wastegate is 0,2-0,9bar.
This one goes to Cyprus next week
50 pc are to be made and anodized yellow ( correct there?? )
Price will be around 120 Euro

Seems to be okay.
Basically same as I´ve done few years, it works.
I do use pneumatic cylinder in my execution.

Thanks Goran. Great video.

For those of us who live at 5,280 feet (Willbethere...) and drive up to 9,000 feet, and then drive down to sea level once in a while, this would help--right? Because I need a STD pump that can manage that.

Given the PITA it is to adjust the stock ALDA setup and its a great retrofit for the plethora of NA's (4cyl in a 190 anyone?).

I still would prefer to see an electronic drop in replacement for the stock one. Would work on 61x and 60x engines.

What kind of force is required to move the ALDA/IP interface? They use a voice coil for the idle adjustment right?

It has a wider range that original, you can easy go from 50cc to 180. Its a turbowastegate, and you put boost into the mebran, then it starts to move.

Then why only 0,2 to 0,9bar wastegate? What if I drive more than 2bar?

from 0,9 bar to 2,0, it goes fast, turbo is in the upspool mode. Ofcourse some smoke will come but not so much as if you runs without ALDA at all.

Göran,
Are these available for purchase? I already have a "superpump" that was setup/calibrated locally but no work was done to the ALDA..still stock. If so, what is the retrofit process like? how hard would it be to install and tune with the MW pump still on the car?
Thanks,
Josh

Hi Josh.
This is for the 4-6 M-serie pump, With som mod it fits on 5 cyl also.
It dont fit on the MW serie. MW dont have an external stop, otherwise than the throttle level.
For M-serie they will bee for sale, Got a phonecall from the guy that do the watercut, he promised that the parts would be ready 27 Nov. After that some threding M6 and bending 90 degrees, then off to anodize. Yellow, Not red :-)

Any chance I could talk you into making one for an MW? I have a couple of extra pumps lying around I could send out there if needs be.

Please, can you give me an advice? I will change my turbo with airflow from 19 lb/min to 27 lb/min and increase fuel from 50 cc to 75 cc. Boost 15 psi. What i can do with ALDA? Can i adjust stock ALDA to get enough fuel from idle to WOT? If i remove ALDA i get black smoke and waste of fuel? om602.962
