if anyone is in the junkyard and can score some parts I would like these things at a reasonable price.

1 rear bumpstop
1 front bumpershock/mount thingy
1 chrome grill also w126 and w201 are the same?

and I think that's it but maybe I could add to this as an ongoing list.
also could go for a set of injectors/nozzles. Though they may be a little high in $ for me Wink

AS for the injectors --

If you DO NOT mind mis-matched injector bodies, and used nozzles which are not great but not poor, that is, about 15K-20K miles left in them, then I can give you a deal. Mis-match injector bodies mean that half will have the longer bottom part and the others have the shorter bottom part. They are the "matched" top and bottom part. Rather, different styles. They are the same exact overall height and fit, no leaks, et cet with no issues and these come from the OM617,9XX engine. There appears to be 3 different body styles. One with a longer looking bottom part, One with a smaller upper body part, and one sort of in the middle. The latter appears to be rare since I only got one of those and only recall having one of those. If you skip insurance and tracking, then postage is $5.35 USPS priority mail. These will be pop tested at 1950 PSI, cleaned, and balanced per FSM as I do any other set. That is a $50 dollar value. I just ended up with a handful of each type (except the rare type) and either I stumble into 1 or 2 to make a complete set of 5 for the ones I got OR this may be a good time to get rid of 5 of them. I am not really sure how I got so many odd numbered injectors. I know I had to swap out some for customers who had busted ones, but I think I got 3 of one type and 4 of the other type. PM me if interested. Thanks.

I could buy a W123 or W126 or W201 grille with good chrome surround (but crap lattice, and no hood star) in a local boneyard tomorrow morning for $20-$30. But shipping would kill the deal. New ones are going on eBay for $65-$70, shipped.

Gone but not forgotten: two W123 sedans and two W124 wagons.
W124 1987 300TD wagon, for sale, $1000 (some assembly required).

I have a line on a low price grill. That shock mount thing would be awesome if you could get it.

Hmm...checked all three local boneyards today. All three have crushed all W123's they had (total, 3) just two days ago.

I might be all set. I think I can get someone to just TIG that cracked bracket I already have. And the grill is in the mail to me.
Trying to patch up after rolling into all those trees Sad
