If I had a complete tune and an easy wiring solution for the 7 speed I would not use it unless I was revving above 8k rpm. 1st gear is way to short.

Glad you guys are working through the trans though. Is PCS supporting you on this? Or are you working on it yourselves?

04-28-2012, 09:36 AM #12Honestly the complexity and the fact that 7 gears is really only good for high revving and fuel economy or an engine that makes little torque makes it not worth it. The 722.6 is very robust and the install is bolt in. I have very good starter calibration files for it.
