Not to be the voice of reason, but if these are marine application for a mercury 850 outboard rated at 85 hp, then they might be a special material for anti galvanic corrosion properties.

It might be a 10 dollar nut new, so worth reselling for 3 bucks or so, who knows.

stainless steel dipped in angels tears. That adds a couple bucks, an angel is pretty difficult to net and dies in captivity
