My M pump has arrived, and have been talking to Dieselmeken about upgrading it to his 7.5 elements. Knowing that it is necessary to upgrade the turbo Im looking for advice from those that have played with turbo upgrades.

I want as much power possible without sacrificing idle characteristics or drive-ability. Intended on building a complete sleeper, but the more I read the posts here the more it is becoming something completely different. Big Grin

Thanks in advance

Love the idea of a compound system but the price of machinists up here makes it seem a little out of reach right now. A friend recommended sending all machine work south of the border.

Have access to a Thunderbird SC supercharger for practically nothing so has me thinking, but might want to find something I can bolt on now while building for the compound.

Was just thinking - I know dangerous to do so at the best of times - that I have a 5.9 cummins sitting in the frame of my FS Jeep project that isn't going anywhere fast. So why not pull the turbo off that to play with. I know people have used them here on the forums so perhaps someone knows what kind of power this turbo is good for?

Also found a God Speed T28 turbo locally.

Without appearing to Hi-Jack your thread, I too am in the same boat. I have one of Goran's M pumps, 6mm, and I am looking for a turbo and I am putting in a Supercharger down the road as I no longer need my PS Pump (got mechanical / manual steering box).

Any ideas to share ? Thanks.

So finally got a chance to check what turbo was attached to my 6bt and it is a H1C. Been checking the net for more info and it seems as though people have been swapping housings - http://www.gillettdiesel.com/h1upgradeco...l60mm.aspx for example - and wondered what experience people here have had with this turbo if any at all.

Thanks for reading

I have the HY35 on y 24V cummins. Origional with 230,000 miles. By my research, the HX is a tad less laggy & has a bit better flow.
