Should fit. Depending on age of the OM617, you might still have to change the gearbox flange plate, they changed the centering from screws to dowls, but I'm not sure when. You'll see.You can vaguely see the difference here; early OM617 & late gearbox:

06-29-2012, 03:30 AM #9The M102 engine/230E was introduced in 9/'80. As was the new 109HP 200. Both M102 engined cars (230E & 200) share the same drive train.
