looking for more power on a daily driver

I read the thread briefly about the 10mm pump and how shortly afterwards the tranny failed. I cannot seem to find the happy spot for daily driving with my myna pump. At slow acceleration it clunks from gear to gear, and at full it slips on some gears. I can change the settings on the pump and the tranny with little avail. Prior to this my modified stock pump shifted perfectly and the tranny had no issues.

Anyone else care to comment with their experience with trannys and super pumps?

Automatic 722.3? Isn't there a aftermarket K1 & K2 clutch kit? Unless you want to be ripping it apart, I would look into a 240d stick-shift /w an aftermarket clutch its probably good for about 300-400tq's anything more and your looking at a full custom setup but at that point your going to be breaking axles left and right so probably not your biggest concern.

1983 300TD : 4 Speed : SLS Delete : More. Daily Deathcab
1987 190E/16v/OM603 : 5 Speed : SLS Delete : Lots More..W201 Project

hi,
what about using a setup like blacksmokeracing, auto that is made semi auto with lockable torque convertor that is on a switch. Think it is c55 amg box which is a modified 722 box. Someone correct me if this is wrong, just what i was told. Some sort of controller is needed. They are having problems with it at the minute.

Does it still slip when no vacuum is applied? I was thinking of VCV adjustments (or rejiggering). If it doesn't slip without vacuum then your solution is some sort of VCV adjustment. If it slips anyways... new transmission time.

I can tell you that the bmw e39 530d gearbox will hold atleast 1000nm! Custom bellhousing must be welded on, but the the flexdisc is 110mm so it will fit the mercedes who has 110mm ones.
