I have a Rear Euro Bumper, 3 piece. I think I need the bracket which connects the bumper to the body. It appears to be two bolts on the bumper and I assume 3 bolts to the car. It is for a W123.

Does anyone know how long the bracket is ? I could try to make one or does anyone have one for sale?. Need both sides. Also, looking for the wrap around piece that goes on the inside of the end. I also think there is some sort of tab that goes onto the rear quarter panel. I looked at the FSM and this is my best guess at this point. Who would think a bumper would be challenging. LOL

Thanks

I was having the same issue, I had to take off the bumper because of how loose it was and it would scratch the paint everytime I hit a bump. Let me know what you come up with.

Hey,

I fully know now what you were talking about regarding the bumper. Here is the part #A 123 880 00 14 BRACKET 002
This slips over the little arm inside the left and right side end pieces which permits one to bolt the end pieces to the rear quarter panel. If you type in the part # and google it, you will get a nice post on Benzworld.org. It lists every part. I am looking now for the part. Someone commented that they bought the entire set of brackets, fastners, et cet (a kit ???) for about $50.00. I will keep you posted.

Here is a picture of the "tang" that slips over the inner arm. It has a rubber / vinyl jacket and the arm itself has one too.

Excellent! I was going to make one but I had no idea where to actually start, I would rather buy a set though due to the limited amount of time I actually have between working 50 to 60 hours a week
