I have a friend who has threatened to give me his "old" Mercedes project he never got to...well he showed up the other day and dropped it off and handed me the title. Now I need to spend some time and get her back on the road. I figured I would share and see if you guys have any advice for me.

Here's a few quick pictures I took the other day

1983 300D 246,000 with lots of goodies (Sasha)
1980 300TD 200K Third row seat

We live in a world that goes faster every day and it seems there's a lack of time for each one of us

I love those damn cars. Can't wait to have one. What are they, all 4speed manual?

Rusted out beat down 300d turbo 82' -- RIP
Nice body, tons of ridiculous mechanical issues - 300d turbo 82' /motor 85'

Thanks I don't know for sure on that I need to do more research on them, I have only ever had the W123's. I am going to try to get it running first then go from there.

One day I'll have a few spare $ and find me one. I bet they can get pretty decent fuel economy too.
Right before I got this 123 I had a chance to look at a white 220d for like $800. But I went for the turbo power and extra cylinder Wink
