I paid $118 including shipping. Best head unit I have owned in years. For the price. BT + Ipod + USB + cdmp3 +hipass (60/90/120 + sloper) crossover for builtin 19x4 rms amp + lopass (60/90/120 + sloper) crossover for sub out.

This replaced a decent but old Alpine deck in my car. First time I turned the clarion on I was very impressed with the immediate improved sound stage and warmth. Out of the box it was a 10x improvement. With crossovers enabled its that much better....

For the price this is a great stocking stuffer.

I thought about trying out that new Parrot radio on Crutchfield but after reading the reviews it looks like its not so hot. I’ve always gone with Kenwood gear, so I think I’ll do the same for my wagon now.

i’m stuck between the KDC-X995 and the KIV-BT901

I guess it really boils down too if I want a screen or not...

if it don’t blow black...take it back.

1982 300TDT 4 Speed 196K Standard Beige “VEGEWGN”. 300GD FW. Walbro FRC-8 Fuel Pump. ZadaTech LCD Boost, EGT, & Fuel Pressure gauge. Non-EGR Exhaust and Intake Manifold. 3/2 Valves gone. Soon to have Elsbett WVO conversion
1981 300D 314K Midnight Blue “The Blue Car”, Lovecrap system, owned 25 years+
1985 300TD White 198K “Betty White” Pure beauty

I just wonder if it is easier to look at a LCD or a PIN display? I like the functions of both, I just don’t want to regret getting the LCD and not be able to look at in in certain lighting angles
