Hi all.
I want to ride my 300tdt an automatic gearbox from a W126 280se. Is it possible this show?
¿I can have a problem?
The 300tdt mounts a 722,315,
the 280 a 722,300

Electric speedo, different shift points. Very possible if you get around or ignore those issues.

that means different shift points? It is the rpm at which gear changes occur?
You can not adjust?

Yeah, the rpm. You can easily adjust the light duty shift points, but for the maximum shift points you'd have to switch the entire valvebody over.

It is a problem.
I have 2 box 5-speed manual and 4 speed box 3.
But it is difficult to get an automatic 722,315 in Spain

Well, I got a box from a 300sd 722,303, but I still have the problem of the odometer.
Could we put the box back of a battered 722,315?
How about a 722,359?

I found a damaged 722,315 for 200 €, and € 722,357 for 100. But I'm not sure that I was worth 722,357. It is one of 91 300CE
