Bone Stock OM617.952, No! no intercooler and No! no I.P modifications.

Is a w/m injection system still really worth it?
Real improvements in MPG? like + 2 to 3 MPG?
What boost pressures should she be set to spray on a BONE STOCK OM617.952
How much $$ aprxt. for a w/m set up?
Will turbo require a blow off valve?
Will this elongate the life of the motor?
Will alternator be able to handle the additional load of the pump?

Why don't car manufacturers install these W/M injection systems if they are so efficient in reducing EGT's and so forth?

Cheers

You definatly get power out of the alcohol or methonol. But the $ you spend on it costs more than tge diesel it might save you.

Opinion only no actual facts to back it up Wink

stock tuning does not exceed maximum egt's so no need to have w/m injection, at least to reduce egt's

I have a w/m setup on my 7.3L f350 and although I have aftermarket injectors and turbo if I switch my chip to the stock setting and cruise on the highway I see a average of 1 mpg gain running a 50/50 of washer fluid and distilled water so unless you are using it for mainly cooling after you have modded the car or going to add meth to get a little extra power I don't really know if it would be worth it... I am super curious tho since I have about half the parts needed to throw together another kit to throw it on my stock 300d and see what it would do power wise with adding straight washer fluid just for shits and giggles lol...

You will feel a kick. I for sure did and it wasn't even that super potent washer fluid.

om617 turbo. 3gph. Motor was way outta tune. when the meth would kick on it was so smooth. Injection just post turbo and pre intake mani at like 7psi
