08-15-2011, 09:45 AM #4I think it depends on the year of the transmission the older ones I have seen early 1960-70's used 30 weight & later one's used ATF and but I have no idea when it comes to the later all aluminum boxes like yours?

I know someone on here tried with ATF and regular oil, can't remember who though.

ATF and 10W30 maybe used. Did you have an experience with the new trans prior to the penzoil? I have Royal Purple in my 4 spd. MTL in my 5spd but I am not over impressed with it.
