I put togeather a performance calculator to let me play 'what if' games for engine, transmission, gear, and tire changes for my off-road trucks, it's grown a wee bit beyond what I initially planned for, and I am having people ask me to add information for the mercedes diesels to it

in a quick look around here I found one torque graph in the thread at http://www.superturbodiesel.com/std/dyno...t-187.html
I don't understand why the upgraded engine has a much narrower rpm range.

are there any other graphs or charts that show the performance of the various engines? (ideally a torque graph/chart, but I can calculate from a horsepower chart/graph)

I'd also like to add the transmissions if someone could point me somewhere that gives their specs.

Those are two different dyno runs (and different dynos if I remember correctly).

EDIT: I noticed on your calculator that you listed MB a 6 cylinder, it should be 5.

I'll be putting my stock 300D on the dyno in a week or two for a baseline run.
