Rack and pinion steering in a W123?
I just have a few questions, about my W123 280E trackcar project.
My questions are:
Has anyone fitted rack and pinion steering to their W123?
If so, what steering rack have you used? and, how did you do it?
OR, Has anyone fitted a higher ratio steering box?
If so, what was it off?
I want to quicken the steering. and make it more responsive.
I don't want to fit a steering quickening box, because I won't be able to have the car road-legal with 1 fitted.

There is a guy. bfj* or something like that with a american gasser engine and a mustang rack and pinion steering in his car. I think hes on bw and pp.

80 300sd hy35, front mount intercooler, w115 intake, rack limiter removed, Alda removed, full load turned up, boost, ebp, trans, pyro, egr delete, 3.5" exhaust, e-fan, 16x8 rims with, 245/50 tires, lowered, bilstien 5100's, 12" front brakes, 2.65:1 diff.

There's a guy in Sacramento that put a mustang 2 "fat man fab" front in. With a ls1 into a 84 280sl.
