my 300D is making a weird noise from the belts. I'm not sure what it is from. The noise is located on the exhaust side and increases with revs. No idea if its the tensioner or the alternator or a loose belt

check the rubber bearing (eyes) of the tensioner by using a screw driver pushing on.
I can not hear it clearly with the hood closed but the tensioner bearing is clattering noise.

Check the tensioner. Use a hammer handle and push down on it and see if it goes away. My tensioner spring broke one day out of no where.
