Thing spools instantly and once I let off the throttle I have to go take a nap to wait for it to slow back down to idle speed
...I want one...
1982 300D Turbo ... 3,6xxlbs, No fan, No AC, Hood Stack, No ALDA, No rear bumper and stuffed front, A/W Intercooled, Injectors by Greezer and HUGE Pre-Chambers with help from OM616 & Simpler=Better, Fuel Cranked up, 60 Trim Compressor wheel, EGT, EMP, Boost 50" Rigid Radius bar on roof Aux tank for a total of 48 Gal Of Diesel! 05-09-2011, 11:57 PM #1It's not Diesel but I couldn't give two shits about that. Point is I am tuning the EFI on this BBC with some monster ball bearing turbo on it... I know its off a diesel truck but dunno what.

What is the engine displacement on that thing?
Also, how do you know its ballbearing? Different sounds, casing?
You have your own shop too? (jealous)

He told me it was ball bearing, and by the way it spools, trust me you can tell an immediate difference. Makes our Garrett turbos look like a pile of Horse Sh*t haha
No I don't have a shop .. yet. Getting together a Business though (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dr-EFI/206143439406501 ), Anything high performance American Muscle really, but specializing in EFI. Will also handle any Electrical, Fuel systems, Drive train, and Suspension needs
I will ask on the turbo specs...

80 300sd hy35, front mount intercooler, w115 intake, rack limiter removed, Alda removed, full load turned up, boost, ebp, trans, pyro, egr delete, 3.5" exhaust, e-fan, 16x8 rims with, 245/50 tires, lowered, bilstien 5100's, 12" front brakes, 2.65:1 diff.

Other than the BBC V8 sound. The thing has the old NASCAR style exhaust and sounds like a tractor when the turbo starts to spool (1500 rpm)
