bought a 87 300td engine swaps?
I just got a good dealon a 87 td wagon that is in really goodshape in has a little rust around the jack points but nothing a little sand blasting would take careof. any way the car needs a blowermotor for safty . My question is can the motor be swapped for a 606 if i can find one later it has a 603 this is the engine that the iijetion pump can bee swaped over right? Thae car runs grea6t starts good in the cold has some leakes to take car of but other than that it,s runs and drives great the down size is it has 605 thousand km on it! think i am going to drive it to see how long it can last while looking for a 606 the hot rod the crap out of it! tha owner has a binder full of recorded matanence and repares since 1990 when he bought it! H drov a lot of highway runs for his buisness( toronto to quebec ) so I wasn,t scared to get the car and I got it for $$1200!! the air works sort of I just want to see what I can doto the thing to hot rod it in to a superturbo! don't have a camera right now otherwise i would include somepics

well got stated on the wagon to day got the blower working and drove it home I now see why people love these on the hyway rode like a dream yet handles good for such a big car! i presure washed the engine so I can get a good look to see were the leaks are coming from, thats why i whent for a jog up the highway on the way home to dry it off! Seams it's leakingfrom the vavle cover at the front and a little around the lines at the IP so i got to get that fixed, I still cant belive this car has 605,ooo km on it!
