looking for input on converting my throttle linkage over to cable Smile

Have found a few examples, and was curious if anyone has done something similar...

Heres how I did mine You cant see it very good though

But I used this carb style adapter end I got from summit

You just cut the stock ball type end off the cable slide this over and it has a set screw that locks the cable in

4rnnr33 - are you still able to manually push the stop lever toward the valve cover to stop the motor with the throttle cable connected or does the gas pedal interfere since its tied directly to the lever via the cable?

I was going to , and likely still will, buy the OEM cable setup from a RHD 300D.

this compact item comes from a volvo...has a build-in return spring:
