Its not to bad the speedometer cluster has to be out to work on it. There are two hoses hook one up to the switch you can blow through when the ignition is off and cant when the switch is in the on position.

removal at this point is easy turn the key on one or 2 two positions put A PAPERCLIP IN THE LITTLE HOLE ON THE FRONT OF THE SWITCH turn the key until the paper clip pops in then the outer black shell will unscrew and the ignition tumbler,retaining ring,key,paperclip come off in your hand. set it aside do not remove the paper clip. then under the dash there is a clamp on the column remove it i think it 10mm. then there is a little button you have to press in and the whole unit slides out of the steering column. it will not fit out from behind the dash if the key tumbler is still in it.

as I remember the vacuum shut off part is rebuild able or replaceable if its not working Big Grin

as for vacuum lines one line goes from the switch to vacuum and the other goes to the shutoff on the injection pump. Its that simple vacuum through the switch when off no vacuum when on
