Cooler (Wagner tuning)
Dpf deleted (rest of exthaus pipe is still stock, including cat)
Softw.

Turbomod, made By Pro Turbo Fin works great, no smoke.

What an excellent power curve....I can see there's a huge amount of R&D gone into that result.  Tough engines those M57s.  How is driveability at this output.  Did you have to beef up the transmission and torque converter to hold this output?

Clutch packs have been doubled in A/T as far as I know.

Amazing how many tuners refuse to tune engines beyond 25% extra output, yet you, and a few other guys here, have no problem doubling engine output....with little or no smoke.

I notice several tuners just download maps from the internet, no really knowing what they do to an engine. It is very rare to find an actual tuner who is an engine man firstly, and a software programer secondly.

Is it an OM648 you are planning on building?

I'm reading with interest, not many people seem to use the 0M648 as a transplant favouring the 606. I like to be different, what would be major difficulties in getting the 648 running in a a different vehicle (Land Rover)?

I have now a very very good "test mule" for that engine and ecu is edc16, which is quite easy to mod.

W203, about 510-520hp from rear wheels, with only diesel and one turbo.
And, as you can see, no smoke ... from engine.

Street solution needs douple turbo.
New injectors are good up to ~700hp level, so it is quite a good upgrade for the racer.
Very interesting summer coming.
