Ok, I've been searching through numerous threads for sometime and am having a hard time getting a square answer on the following issues. I have an 82 CDT.

I want blistering performance. To do this I am going to start with an injector pump. Have we settled on whether this rebuild with 7mm or larger plungers can be done in North America for less money than MYNA in Finland? There is a guy named Giles in Canada and a guy from this list named derv tuning but I haven't heard if anyone finally got a finished product from them. Regarding the pump i have, is it an M or MW, if MW do i just need to buy an M online somewhere? Recs? Also, internal parts for 7mm or larger swap. Can't seem to find a website.
Later on I plan to add a snowperformance intercooler and possibly a larger turbo but want to start with the pump. I need a site for parts and a site for labor, preferably not in Finland.

I spent all day yesterday seeking a website for derv, no luck. No contact back from performancediesel.ca yet either.

Thank you for your kind assistance.
M Deming

PS: The one thing out there that may come in kit form would be suspension mods. Any recs for 300cd for handling?

Hi,

I have had the pump and nozzles for my 300d done by Dutch Pump Performance here in Holland. They have put 7 mm elements in it and changed what else needed to be done.

I have also put on an Holset Super HX40 with it and have a really good performance, now got the car back apart to put a HE431V on to get a goot torque also at the low rpm range.

I have been talking to arjan up there his number is +31 648076895 and email arjan_rednex@kpnplanet.nl think you got a good change that they can help you out okay .

Thank you. I'll look into that but had hoped to keep it stateside. What sort of Euro's did you have to pay for your pump work there if you don't mind me asking? Also, when you switch from factory to the Holset HX40 or the new VGT HE431v did you have to mill some sort of adaptor plate or will it bolt on?

If its blistering performance you seek, your working with the wrong engine.

And as far as suspension, Bilstein HD shocks, cut coils, larger TD front sway bar.

617a engine comes with MW pump.
Option 1: Holly elements MW with 6.5mm (nominal output 80ccm/1000)
cost: 75 EUR/element (elements only)

Option 2: Switch to M pump off 617 N/A and go for lager elements, 7mm or Floyd M with 7.5mm (nominal output 100ccm/1000).
Cost: Floyd M75 60 EUR/element (elements only). Downside: The 5 cyl. M pump for 617 engines has a N/A governor. Solution either compromise of low end smoke or additional ALDA equipment operating i.e. the stop lever.
Best solution here is to swap to a turbo governor.

I can only supply the elements, as a result of private hobby activities, therefore no website. The same with DervTuning, he is doing the element swap and pump adjustment, also as a private in Maryland.

I worked together also with Arjan in Holland. - perfect service!

The whole thing is still not plug and play unless i.e. DervTuning is "testing" the pump in his own car or Arjan does the calibration of the pump on the engine on the dyno.

In other words, Myna is still the best complete solution.

Giles from performance Diesel Injection and is a friend of mine I have been working with him on a solution for the m pumps, which is going to involve some custom elements and alot of bench time to get the most out of the pumps. I have used many of His VE performance pumps on Vw's and the performance is amazing so I have no doubt that he can do something similar to myna. I'm a 4th year mechanical engineering student and school takes up alot of my time so I haven't been able to work on the project with him as much as i would have liked to but I will keep posting any mew information I come accross.

Thank you everyone; this board is truly awesome. Perhaps blistering was a poor choice of words. I already own the car however so I must work with what I have. Heard back from Giles; he said he is still trying to source the parts for the 7mm on the M.
I was intrigued with the fellow who put 10mm parts on his MW and look forward to seeing how that finally works out.
Appreciate all of the responses and look forward to standing on the shoulders of giants. Now to continue fixing these $%$* window leaks...

Hello,

The turbo will not bolt on the old manifold, see the pictures.
Had it on the car saturday and it fits okay, got some more pictures later. The turbo has an 60mm titanium impeller.

Greets,

Mark

reminds me of my 2006 subaru sti.

nice headers, turbo, filter and ewg.

getting misty-eyed.

the racer/builder that is www.blacksmokeracing.com Teemu in Finland has said that he builds performance injector pumps too.

no first hand knowledge, but any one who can drift professional a 300TD ... worth a try.

        Hello,

This is our latest project. The car we have completely build up from a 230E with manual gearbox too a 300D with automatic transmission.
Engine is a OM603.960 completely overhauled and a lot of parts are modified or build new. Feul system, pump injectors done by DPP Holland. Turbo modified by ourselves is is a HE341VE with a 60mm ind. titanium wheel.
Have the engine running now work on the rest off the car probably done in about 4-6 weeks from now.
