Lost the wagon to excessive rust underneath all the fancy paint. Another heavily modified 123 is in the making.

too bad about that wagon biting the dust though, fortunately it looks like lots of it will live on in other things!

New car going to be another wagon?

yeah, is that a dealership shop? They allow you to do that kind of work in there?

the engine and trans and rear diff are undergoing some work and will soon be in the 78 sedan I just painted. Also most of the interior components will make their way over to the 78. Front suspension and steering gear also will be used. The rest will be on ebay. Ya it was pretty bad under all that bondo and paint, I did some pretty rookie bodywork but practice makes perfect. Thanks for the comment of the shop, yes it is the Benz dealer I work at, and they didnt mind me stripping it as long as it was on Saturdays only. I lowered it from the lift onto the scrap guys trailer and said good bye.
And of course, the cowl hood will make a come back tour as well.......
