Hi,
Does anyone know if there is any options for a quick ratio steering in the c250? Is there a quicker ratio box from another model that will fit or can be made fit? Do any mercs come with a steering rack?

I have come across a steering quickener, which is a small gearbox that fits between steering shaft and steering box. Ive never seen one in this country, they seem to be used a lot in america. They have 2 to 1 ratio or 1.5 to 1. Has anyone any experience with these or how heavy the steering while be? Keep in mind i am building a drift car.
Thanks.

I actually have a buddy that uses them in offroad races.... The only bad thing is if the tire hits something and tries to jerk the wheel from your hand... The tires have much more leverage now.... and those little quickeners are not very strong..
