hi folks i am new here. I am going to build a c250 drift car with a holsett turbo. I was going to remove fly by wire pump and fit pump of om602. I have got a hold of a om602 non turbo pump, can it supply enough fuel to the om605 td engine. Thanks any help will be appreciated.

No. You will need to have the pump elements replaced to get more than 150hp.

Thanks for the reply, has this om602 non turbo pump the same elements as the turbo version? What about the fly by wire om605 pump, could any parts or elements be used from it? Where could i buy these elements? Whay size would you advise me to go?

You can purchase elemnt's from a fellow superTD member- tomnik.....

You can go with 7mm or higher that would be a good start for you, those should be good for around 450hp, if im not mistaking on a 605, with the correct holset of course.

What holset will you be running?

I can get a hx 35 that is modified for a petrol engine to spool quicker, but i think it may have to much lag for drifting. or a hx 30, what you think?

Turbo pump has an ALDA, but if you send you ip on element update they can do it on side a pump. Dont know all pump shops, but Mynä-Diesel and PPD do those here in Finland
There is also 8mm elements in market. No need touch about injectors

You have exact prise if you ask there. Here is one drifter who has Garrett gt40 on his om606. What i have talk about him he think at that Garrett is too slow spool.

ok i will phone myna diesel and get a price, have tried a couple of pump places in n-ireland and they wont modify ip,but there is one more i will try tomorrow who are famous for lorry pumps in this country like 143 scania pumps. Thanks maybe i use smaller turbo.

OPEL MANTA 400R. with nissan sr20 motor,merc s class calipers,atlas axle,zf lsd, corsa power steering.. 301hp.(thats why i get mantahead)

They are basically the same engine, the other is just one cylinder longer = more power, more weight. If you take 500hp, it comes easier from the 6-cylinder, of course.
