10-02-2010, 08:22 PM #1I am looking to buy a 1984 Mercedes 300SD for the low milage engine and was curious if the engine in it was the same in my 1982 300D I've searched the internet and cant seem to find the information i need. I didnt know if the engine, fuel pump, and transmission were the same. can anyone help me out? I know the information is out there i just havent fouind the right sights and i have actually seen the 300SD to look at the serial numbers on the engine.

The only differences are the mount arms and oil pressure sender.

Yeah, 24hp. The turbo added 37hp, a 42% increase.
