M110 Bottom end apparently bomb-proof...

Top-end, cams and chain a little weak, needs regular clearance setting to avoid cam wear, chains can stretch too, they say change chain at 100 odd K...

i was planning to just use it for a work truck. couple days a week about 50-60 miles commuting a day.. nothing abusive.

ive heard so many mixed reviews with these engines.

but the one im looking at is really spot on and taken care of all around.

would 10k service intertals for the valve adjustments be ok?

They are generally good engines, if you don't mind never seeing higher than 16mpg.
