NOTE: Installation thread here- http://www.superturbodiesel.com/std/moun...t-467.html

I managed to fall across a OM617.91 M-Pump from a 1981 Euro 300D. It has a manual transmission, but alas, it is an iron 4-speed. I was considering pulling the 300D 4-speed driveshaft and 617 flywheel but I don't really need/want those parts. If somebody (Craig) wants it the 300D is located at the Sidewinder junkyard. I might go back tomorrow and snag that manual antenna.

I got all those parts for a ridiculously cheap $40. Big Grin No, I'm not going to sell any of it. I'm going to do the MW-Pump limiter removal for now and send the M-Pump off to Myna when (IF) the $ vs € price comes back down.

I thing, that in bulgaria there might be a dieselspecialists, but you might have to send the pump somewhere for mods and adjustments.
Those firms above know a great deal about superturbos.

Excellent score!

I noticed in the one photo of the data tag that it read:
"PES5M...."

Would an MW pump read "PES5MW...."?

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks - good to know!
Other than the P-series inline pumps which I've spent a lot of time with, I've only messed around with the A-series pumps a little bit and have zero experience with the M's or MW's.

Beers,

Matt

Which is the VE series - that pump you bought and took pictures of?
If so, I disagree - that's an "M" pump. Here's a good page with Bosch pump tag info:
http://www.rockymountainmoggers.com/dies...stuff.html

VE's and VP's are rotary plunger pumps...yours is an inline - A, M, MW, P are all inline pumps.

Beers,

Matt
