If the dude that welded it up dosnt want it i might be interested in throwing it on top of the SD.
Im not gonna rally this SD, but it will see alot of dirt roads on camping trips and such.

i'm just thinking though, it would need to be modified to mount on something with a shorter roof. the thing is made to bolt to yakima gutter bars, and the parts that are in place for that are at the very ends of a 300TD roof. a sedan roof would be a lot shorter and idk if you want to load it up like that when the mounts would have to be so far inwards from the ends of the rack.
capt - talk to taylor and see whats up. the rack is sitting in a spot in my garage that is ok for now but i would like to be able to get it moved out pretty quick here. if he can come grab it, its all his. i just want to keep my yakima bars for the 240d.

I didn't get to do anything with the 240 this weekend. I think the oil pump chain is broken and it has no oil pressure. So I get it to start and it will run till it seizes again.

Im sure they were "somebodys" but i dont think they were TOO tame, there were no houses/farms for quite a long while. They are mules..i dont think they were for riding or packing...there was a large group of them out and about just chillin.
So i dont think they were "wild" or "domestic" more like feral...who knows

On this entire trip with the car loaded to the brim with gear we only used about 4gallons of diesel, the rest was ALL WVO.
About 900miles roundtrip, up to an elevation of 9,768ft, and it snowed on us 3times.
Gotta love the veggie
