I'm leaving Connecticut Aug 26th and coming back on Sept. 9th. I make it my vacation every other year or so. I'm not into biodiesel but there are a few camps dedicated to their school busses. It's pack in pack out, but don't bring anything you can't get ruined. The music scene can't be beat.

Hey you're already driving 2800miles, you could make the 140mile detour off I-80 and visit here.

That's very nice of you, thanks. When the Benz crosses the country I'd love her to meet your cars. I have to fly I can't afford the time and money to drive right now. I'm going to San Francisco first if anyone has friends driving from San Fran to Burning Man, I'm offering $225 one way ride for three people and some gear.

I too have always wanted to go, but with the prices there charging for tickets, idk, seems kind of against the point.
I do however run the 240 on alt fuel!

Wow, $200-300? I didn't know it was that pricey. The event sounds like a lot of fun, but there are many many things I'd rather spend $500 on.

If you buy tickets early they're in the low $200s. It's a full week and more stimulation than can be had anywhere else at any price. It gets your mind out of the state the system we live in forces on it. I'll be going for my fifth time and can't wait. Its been two years since I've gone. Tickets for next year go on sale at their website in January.
