I'm about to tap a hole for one in my exhaust. Wanted to check here first because I wouldn't want to retap to a different size or something (pulling out the exhaust again) if the first one doesn't work out.

Pretty much all pyrometers use a 1/4NPT hole. Most use ISSPRO but VDO is good as well.

The VDO works great for me and it almost looks stock!

Nice thing is you have more than one instrument all in one withaudible alarm.

I have this one since it fits in on my dash better.

The roung model fis better on Land Rovers. Theyt remove one of the gauges in the instrument clusted and replace it with this one.
