http://lancaster.craigslist.org/ctd/1690998881.html

found this on the local CL.

1969 Mercedes Benz 1113 Race Car Transporter. According to a letter from MB the truck was built in 1968, it is titled as a 1969. The odometer shows 158,365 Kilometers which I think converts to 98,000 miles. Due to age the title is branded "exempt". The engine is a 6 cylinder Mercedes diesel and still runs. The trans is a 5 speed manual. The truck is 35 feet 8 inches in overall length. The cab is 4 feet, the Crew Cabin is 5 feet and the cargo/car area is 26 feet 8 inches. The drivers cab has the original style captain chairs and the original Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. The Crew cabin has a small propane stove, a sink and built in cabinets. Most of the wood trim is still there but will need refinished. The truck is in need of a full restoration. Some of the trim and interior parts were removed as a start on this process but it was not completed. The cab and doors have the usual rust. We had the engine running . The tires need to be replaced. Many parts are still available through the M Benz system.
1969 Mercedes-Benz Transporter Look at more info & pix.

1983 300CD "Spike" Stock, as of now.
