Hi Everyone,

My first post here.

Could someone direct me to a thread where this has been done? I have found a perfect 82 4 speed 240, and a friend wishes to sell his 85 300 for $300. Its rough, but runs perfectly. The 240 has a broken timing chain, its like new inside and out.

I had an 85 300 SD for 500,000 miles. It was without doubt the best car I have ever had...

Thanks in advance.

Its not very difficult. You mainly need to shorten the driveshaft and shift linkage 4" if you want to use the manual. If you want to keep the auto, its a bolt-in swap.
