I bought a couple of the earlier 5 cylinder intake 115's that have the long runners and the snout pointing at a forward angle...

Looking to add a different filter intake tube, eliminate the airbox & EGR, then put this intake on my 84' 300SD

Are there any prior posts that would help me figure out my tubing needs...I scrounged up a few pieces of 3"...with bends and I am hoping I can cut them here/there and get it to adapt...with connectors...

I am interested in looking at piping options____I am new to this kind of mods
*please post any posts that have pics to add me with this project

thanks in advance

I am not adding a vnt at this itme! here is a pic form another thread whee a guy add a vnt...BUT this is the intake I bought

I found http://www.siliconeintakes.com/ to be a decent place to go to get silicone hose, couplers and clamps. prices are great and quality seems decent.

I don't know where to go to get off the shelf metal pipe sections though. I'll be doing this shortly too (have the intake but am waiting to get the VNT and some time to fab parts)

www.siliconeintakes.com is where I have buying my silcone hoses from, quality and price are right on the mark.

As far as sections of pipe, you could try this co: http://stores.ebay.com/mandrel-bends - I have purcahsed from them as well. Prcie and availability of size, style and material are good.

You could always buy a universal IC pipe kit on ebay and get just about everything you need, that is what I did and have a few leftovers for another project.

1982 300SD: 304,xxx Super M-pump with 7.5mm elements, 265 Nozzles, GT35 water cooled turbo, M90 Supercharger, A/W Intercooler, Serpentine drive belt, 3" SS exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, 240 breather, AEM dry Filter, Manual Boost Control, EGT / Boost / EMP gauges....Moved on to other projects

1995 F-350 7.3L PSD: 230,xxx 6.0 IC, DIY Stage 1 Injectors, 17* hpop, Tony Wildman Chip, John Wood Trans, 6.4L TC, 3" down pipe, 4" straight exhaust, 310 HP on wheel dyno - 8500# dually: 0-60 in 6.98

Suzuki Samurai: VW 1.9L TD, Trackick doubler transfer case (made by me) 5.8:1 transfer case gears, YJ springs front and rear with rear missing links, wheel base extended 14", diffs welded, some day a VNT.
